Meet Dina Tochluk

She grew up in San Jose Costa Rica. Her mother is half American and half Costa Rican. This explains why Dina is fully bilingual and bicultural. Her father is American and she moved to Costa Rica when she was 7 years old. Dina attended the American school, Costa Rica Academy, graduating in 1986. After high school Dina attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York and majored in art. After attending Pratt, she moved to Miami and worked as the sales manager and farm liaison for a muti-million dollar floral import company for 10+ years. This gave her the passion for sales, management, self motivation and the excitement of being part of uniting two cultures in the thriving flower import industry. In Miami she also married and started a family.

 

In 2007, Dina moved back to her homeland to open her own property management company in Manuel Antonio and started to dabble in real estate where she began to fully integrate into the area. Eleven years ago, she began working with 2 Costa Rica Real Estate in Manuel Antonio, which has been a perfect fit. Dina has always said, “Being a REALTOR® in this area is truly a second nature.” Besides the thrill of sales, there is nothing more satisfying to Dina than to show clients what Costa Rica is all about. In the end, it is to find that perfect place in paradise where people call home. Her love for real estate and experience of the area brings some real magic to the table. Real estate also seems to run in the family as her sister is a real estate broker as well.

 

Moving to Manuel Antonio was a natural move for Dina. This is where, as a child, she played on the beaches of Manuel Antonio and later watched her own daughter body surf the waves and enjoy the area as much as she continues to do so. Besides getting to the beach as often as possible, Dina is also an avid mountain biker and hiker, loves to paddle board and she has also participated in local triathlons and marathons.
