My Personal Experience At My First LRE Conference In Park City, Utah

Laura Duran

I'm a Relatively New Agent in the Real Estate Industry, and Attending the Recent LRE Conference in Park City, Utah, Was an Eye-opening Experience.

I want to share my perspective as someone who is just starting in the industry, providing insights from a fresh agent's point of view.

Day 1: An Unforgettable Start

The conference started with a warm welcome and a get-together cocktail event where I had the privilege to meet some of the best in the real estate industry from around the world. It was a unique opportunity to mingle with seasoned professionals. I not only had the chance to listen to the masters of the real estate trade but also had the honor of meeting some of the LRE founders and management team. This day set the tone for what was to be an incredible learning and networking experience.

Day 2: Insights into Luxury Real Estate

On the second day, the conference was exclusively for the Board of Regents, and it was an honor for 2Costa Rica Real Estate to be a part of it. This day focused on what's new in the industry. We engaged in roundtable discussions covering various topics like best real estate practices, winning listings, and economic trends.

One of the highlights was a presentation by Morgan Carey, the CEO of Real Estate Web Masters, who explained how artificial intelligence (AI) is impacting real estate. It was eye-opening and provided a glimpse of the industry's future.

We also learned from successful industry leaders about creating a brand and gaining exposure. For a relatively new agent like me, these insights were incredibly valuable.

The day concluded with a fantastic reception, offering a breathtaking view of Park City's ski runs. It was an excellent opportunity for networking and connecting with fellow professionals.

Day 3: Learning Beyond the Conferences

In addition to the enriching conferences and the knowledge shared by mentors, Day 3 provided us with a unique opportunity to go on property tours. These tours proved to be incredibly valuable, as they allowed me to compare the real estate opportunities in Costa Rica with their market price points in other parts of the world.

These firsthand property visits expanded my understanding of the global real estate market and provided me with a wealth of options to offer to our clients. It's one thing to learn in a conference room, but walking through properties and witnessing different real estate offerings in person added a practical dimension to my learning experience. This new perspective will undoubtedly benefit the clients I serve in Costa Rica.

In retrospect, attending the LRE conference in Park City, Utah, as a relatively new agent in the real estate industry was a transformative experience. From meeting industry leaders and LRE founders on the first day to delving into luxury real estate trends and AI insights on Day 2, the conference was an invaluable learning and networking opportunity.

The property tours on Day 3 added a practical dimension to my understanding, enabling me to compare global real estate opportunities. As I return home, I'm inspired and equipped to bring this wealth of knowledge and connections to benefit my clients in Costa Rica. I'm excited to implement these newfound insights into my daily real estate practice.
