My name is Beau Southwell, and I moved to Dominical, Costa Rica as a child with my father and older brother in 1994. I attended public school in the Dominical area of Costa Rica for five years and became an avid surfer. I returned to California in my late teens where I completed high school and eventually attended the University of California at Santa Cruz where I earned my Bachelors Degree.
I obtained my real estate license through the State of California in 2007 and worked for both commercial and residential real estate brokerages. I was also a Police Officer in California for eight years where I worked as a bi-lingual patrol officer and SWAT team member. In my early thirties, I elected to leave the high-stress life of law enforcement in California and returned to the country I had always loved, Costa Rica.
