Meet Chris Norris

He is a beach boy from California who has always loved the ocean. His dad taught him the art of fishing when he was very little, and when he learned that freediving and hunting fish could be combined, he was hooked! Chris got seriously into spearfishing while he lived in the Canary Islands, Spain, from 1997 to 2013. But Costa Rica was always on Chris’s radar, ever since he totally fell in love with the beaches, culture, and lifestyle of this small Central American haven. Since Chris’s mom is a tica, he has been visiting the country since he was very young and soon realized that one day he would call it his home.

 

When the opportunity finally came along, Chris sold everything and came to paradise to start a new life. As he put it himself: “The people are really pleasant, the wildlife is amazing, the lifestyle is simple, and the spearfishing is off the charts”. Apart from being a real estate agent, Chris also owns a small, successful beach hotel, and his local knowledge and love for the pura vida lifestyle are great assets to help anyone find their ideal lifestyle. He has also complemented his love for water sports with the hybrid discipline of triathlons, in which he competes consistently. 

 

Chris has lived in New York, Barcelona, and the Canary Islands, where he worked in the hospitality business as well as in real estate. Living the dream is definitely a common motto used to describe Chris’s lifestyle in Costa Rica, a passion he shares with clients looking to make their own dreams a reality.
